The Betelnut Digest forum was established during Ifugao State Univserity's (IFSU) centennial anniversary in 2020 to promote research appreciation and cultivate a culture of high-quality research outputs aligned with the university's goal of becoming a leader in research.
The forum this year aimed to further enhance IFSU's research appreciation and expand its culture of conducting quality research, specifically in the field of heritage conservation. Maximilian Larena shared his research study titled "Tracing Our Past Using Genomic Lens" during the forum. Another expert who presented was Richard Daenos, the Department of Tourism Region 3 director, who talked about "Responsible Community-based Heritage Conservation"
